The Story

In modern-day Los Angeles, a rising actor becomes entangled in a deadly web of family secrets when a series of murders rocks the Hollywood elite, forcing him to uncover the truth about his own identity before he becomes the next victim in his manipulative brother's masterpiece of destruction.

 

The plot is intricately woven with multiple layers of deception and revelation. The noir style is effectively maintained throughout, with well-timed reveals and mounting tension. The structure of counting down hours adds urgency, and the various deaths are strategically placed for maximum impact.

The story successfully builds emotional investment through Alex's journey and the complex web of relationships. The betrayals and revelations hit hard, and the final act delivers satisfying emotional payoff.

He clasps a double-cross necklace around his neck. A quiet ritual.
Armor on. Game face loaded. Eyes — black, unreadable.

 

CAMERA PULLS BACK —

🎵 MUSIC CUE: “Lipstick Promises” — haunting, slowed

 

CREDIT SEQUENCE BEGINS:

🎵 You told me I was all you'd ever need...

  • CAMERA DRIFTS above FRANCISCO’S dead body.

  • FLASH: Alex and Francisco laughing on a rooftop — glasses clink.

  • FLASH: Knife. Blood. Francisco again — face down.

🎵 You said my love would always be enough...

  • Lipstick across a mirror: YOU'RE MINE

  • Red paw print on the floor.

  • Coffee cup with a bloody fingerprint.

  • Anne in a mirror — red lips, dangerous eyes.

  • Fernando lighting a cigarette — leaving a print on the lighter.

 

SFX LAYER:
Heartbeat pulse.
Camera shutter clicks.
Each memory lands like a trauma being recorded.

🎵 Every single word you said / Every drop-dead shade of red...

  • A screenplay titled DEUCE’S WILD stabbed by a kitchen knife.

  • Blood seeps into the script like it’s alive.

CUT TO — INT. KITCHEN – MOMENTS LATER

FERNANDO sips from his second coffee.
Cool. Precise. He taps the counter with two fingers — a silent countdown.
